Black & White Wednesday

Since it's almost Valentines Day I thought I'd post one of my favorite pictures of my valentine :)
I took this picture about three years ago on a camping trip in Eastern Oregon.
We took the guns out to a gravel pit to do some target shooting.
I love how the black and white makes it look rugged and really brings out the contrast.
He didn't know I was taking the picture, which makes it even better because it wasn't posed. I think those are the best kinds of pictures.
The mountains also make for a great background.

I love my cowboy. I love you Trevor!

Love it! I also love taking pictures that are totally natural and unposed. You really capture people's personality and emotion that way.

Your cowboy is SO cute Katie! Love this in black and white! I think it looks awesome. It might even look cooler if you cropped out the lawn chair. It would give it more of an old west feel! Very nice! Hope you guys have a wonderful Valentines Day!

This is a wonderful picture and it is extra cool that he didn't really know you were taking it.

I love how you can see details like his eyelashes, the pebbles, the reflection on the scope, etc., etc.

Great job!

Ah, you were right in choosing this photo. It does very rugged and natural as a black and white. :)
