Black & White Wednesday

I took a bunch of pictures last weekend when I went to San Francisco. I find bridges fascinating because I grew up in Oregon and we don't have any bridges like this. Every time I go over a bridge I'm just in awe.
It was such a gorgeous day and a awesome day trip! This is one of my favorites :)

This is the original

I edited this picture in Lightroom and used the aged filter on this

And here it is in Black and White!

Go check out more Black & White Wednesday photos at The Long Road to China

I loved SF when we went a couple of years ago. I also love the aged look of the middle photo. What a brilliant look!

Love, love, love the aged one. The way the bridge is faded into the background is beautiful!

This is great! I can't decide if I like your first or second edit the best. Either way they are both terrific.

Feel free to check cut my blog..

Gorgeous image, love the seagull in the foreground and the lines of the bridge behind him. Beautiful black and white and aged photo!

We used to live in Northern California (bay area ) for 7 years and I miss it very much.

I love the lightroom aged filtered one!

Oh wow....what to say first!

Well I am super intrigued by the "aged treatment" and will need to investigate ASAP :) and then I was struck by the scale of the gull and the actual bridge....that's just cool!!

Thanks for sharing!!

I like the black and white, but there's something magical about the sepia version! It feels like warm summer afternoon lighting in a way that makes me feel very much at home. Love it!
