The Pont de l'Archevêché Bridge in Paris near the Notre Dame Cathedral is quite special.
It is covered in padlocks.
The story goes... couples in love write their names on the lock, lock it onto the bridge and then throw the key into the Seine river to bind their love.
I think its cute and romantic. Very cool to look at too. There were thousands of padlocks. I thought these pictures looked better in black & white. Adds some drama :)

ooh there is a place like this in Florence, Italy too. Although when we were there they weren't allowing anyone to add to the lock collection. Really cool.
