I finally got to scan a few pictures from my black and white film photography class.
I had a lot of fun with it but I'm pretty sure I'll be sticking with digital. It's just so much easier and cheaper.
It takes so much time to develop the film and get the picture just right.
Here is a cute vase and flower I have in my dorm room. Just a little something to brighten up the room :)

Spring Break Part 2
I spent the second part of Spring Break in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with my family and boyfriend!
It was so relaxing to just sit in the sun, read a book, do sudoku's :), swim, and sleep!
I also consumed way too much food. It was all sooooo good!
Pretty much everyone on the trip got a little too much sun and ended up with painful sunburns. My sunburn/tan is now peeling away :(
The pictures can kinda explain the trip so... enjoy!

Spring Break Part 1
The first part of Spring break I spent at home. It was a short visit but it was nice to go home for a little bit at least. My Grandma was pretty sick the last couple of weeks. Thank you so much for all of your prayers. She is doing much better and actually went home today! Here are a couple pictures from our hospital visits...

Ashley sporting Grandma's styling suitcase ;)
Then.... Grandma wanted me to order her some dinner on the phone. So I go looking for the phone.... It was under her butt. Her bare butt. So... I used a glove, just for sanitary reasons lol.
Next post will be lots and lots of pictures from Mexico!

Update
My Grandma Mary is doing much better and she should be getting out of the hospital tomorrow.
Thank-you to everyone who prayed for her recovery.
We're on our way to Mexico right now to get some sun and enjoy springbreak!
Hope you all have a great springbreak too!

Bicycle Ride
So my sister and I got the bicycle's out yesterday and rode them to the post office!
It was such a nice day and the exercise was good. There were a few hills but it wasn't too bad :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
So I'm like an hour late because it is now Thursday... But Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Today, I wore my St. Patrick's socks that Shirley sent me! Thanks Shirley!
I'm ALL DONE WITH FINALS!
SPRINGBREAK HAS OFFICIALLY STARTED.
I am home.
Please pray for my Grandma Mary. She is in the hospital and she is not doing so good right now. She had a really bad infection and it weakened her heart and now she's having trouble with blood clots and there is a big chance she could have a stroke or heart attack so please pray that her heart gets stronger and that she recovers from this.

Black & White Wednesday
I'm kinda homesick. Not just for home but for Oregon. I miss that state and all of its ruggedness.
Last year in May my family took a trip over to Eastern Oregon and we just spent the weekend exploring and four-wheeling. This cabin is called the Lost Cabin. Its pretty far out in the middle of nowhere.
It's amazing to think that people used to live so far from civilization and survive. I kinda envy them. It is so peaceful and beautiful out there. It would be an adventure trying to live out there. Of course I'm sure it wasn't always easy. I wish I knew their story.

Cupcakes and Nerf Wars
Last weekend I went to Trevor's house.
He made me yummy tacos.
He fixed my truck and helped me clean it all up :) such a sweet boyfriend
We watched some movies and did a little bit of studying.
I also got to go to his little sisters cupcake birthday party!
We painted cupcake (piggy) banks :)
The cupcakes were oh so yummy :)
The boys got bored on Saturday night and decided it was time to invest in some awesome amazing nerf guns....
This is the gun they gave me....
My gun may have been smaller... but it shot harder than theirs :)

Happy Birthday Trevor!
Today my boyfriend turned 22!
22 just seems so old.
Anyways.... :)
(we were about 13 or 14 in this picture)
Trevor is such a hard worker but he also knows how to play.
He has way too many toys :)
He is the most caring big brother.
He is a super good mechanic and can fix just about anything!
He is so thoughtful and an amazing boyfriend.
I hope you have a great birthday!
I love you!

Black & White Wednesday
Sisters.
How come they don't have a day to celebrate sisters? We have mothers and fathers day. We should have sister day too!
I thought I'd share a couple of my favorite pictures of my sister and I.
These were taking a couple years ago when we were enjoying a nice afternoon outside...
and we look so happy :)
I'm not sure which one of us took them, but long arms help with those self-taken-photos. hahaha.
That doesn't seem like a lot, but when I was 13 and my sister was 10, we weren't exactly on the same page.
We fought. A lot.
She always wanted me to play with her.
I'm pretty sure I played barbies way passed the age limit. I remember I was afraid my friends at school would make fun of me for still playing barbies. Oh the things we do for our sisters ;)
Well now that we've grown up an become more "mature" (haha I think my mom would actually say we've become less mature) we get along much better.
I love my sister Ashley.
I miss her lots and wish I could be there more for her.
Dang this thing called school that separates me from my family! ahhhh
Good thing I only have one more year of school left! And next year Ashley will be going to school with me!
My parents will have a empty house!
My sister is the most random person you will ever meet. I love her randomness.
She writes me priceless letters. In fact... I should be receiving one in the mail any day now. She actually took the time to write me a letter and rode her bike to the post office to mail it. The adventure ended badly though... with a flat tire.
Thanks Ashley for being literally the best sister ever.
p.s. You'd be even more bestest if you let me borrow your clothes more often :)
