Ringing the Healdsburg Bell!

Today is a very special day!

Here at PUC, after seniors finish their last final they go ring the Healdsburg Bell! It's a tradition that started in 2005 and has stuck.

The bell is very loud and you can hear it all across campus. When my sister first heard the bell ringing she thought that someone was attacking the school or something along those lines.

Today was the day!

About an hour ago I finished my last final and rang that bell multiple times!

I am completely done with school!

It felt very liberating to ring that bell.

I'm about to start a new chapter in my life. I'm excited and scared at the same time!

Lots of Pictures!!!!

Yay for class of 2011!!!

Black & White Wednesday "London Edition"

In march I had the opportunity to go to London and Paris with a school group. I am really glad I went because I had a lot of fun. I really love traveling. I knew that after I graduated I wouldn't get the chance to travel abroad to Europe for a long time so I went for it!

I was looking back through some of my pictures and decided to share some pictures of London in black & white!

This is a picture of the building Mozart lived in while he was composing. There was little plaque below the bottom right picture explaining the historic site.

The rest of the pictures just portray London architecture. I love how all the buildings look so old. I would never enjoy living in place like this. I feel like I'd have no privacy!
It's nice to visit though :)

School's Out....

Forever!

Today was my last day of classes.
Kinda hard to believe.

Out of the 22 years I have been alive, I have been a student for 16.

I have two finals next week and then I'll really be done.

Not exactly sure how I feel about all of this.
It's sad but exciting at the same time.

The hardest part is saying goodbye.

Here is a picture with one of my business teachers Prof. Taylor, he taught my last class!

Business Club Lake Day

Last Saturday the Business Club had their 2nd annual Lake Day!

We were really worried the weather wouldn't be nice enough but it turned out great!
The water was super cold though.

Not sure how many people came but we went through more than 200 hotdogs!

It was just a nice relaxing day spent with friends in the sun!

I got a little sad thinking about missing all these people after graduation :(

Black & White Wednesday

So this event actually happened April 17th. THAT'S how behind I am!

My senior banquet! But it was actually just sponsored by the senior class and my sister, a freshman could come and my boyfriend which made it more fun!
The evening started out at the Velvet Cantina where we had appetizers. Then we headed to the Cow Palace for a Cirque Du Soleil show! It was my first Cirque Due Soleil show and I thought it was really cool, I really want to see one of the extreme ones in Vegas though.

There is not a whole lot to say about this special event.... we just got dressed up, ate, and saw a show! Enjoy the pictures!

Mother's Day

So I've been super busy this month. No time for blogging. I'm going to try and catch up though.
Here are some pictures from when Ashley and I went home for Mother's Day.
We spent most of Saturday at Church for the Church's 50th anniversary.
It was nice being home and seeing family again.

It was especially nice to be able to spend mother's day with my mom.

Sunday before we went to the airport we all had lunch together.

Here are a few family photos we took. My dad is absent from them all because he was inside chatting away.

Black & White Wednesday

A few weeks ago my sister Ashley, and my friend Allie and I went to a field to take pictures. Allie and I were taking pictures for our graduation announcements.

Ashley just tagged along for fun. My sister is so photogenic and I just wanted to share these beautiful pictures of her :)

For some reasons I just love fields. Every time I see a field with tall grass and flowers I want to take pictures of it.

The lighting wasn't that great because it was so sunny, but I still like them.

I really wanted a picture that showed how long her hair was. This picture reminds me of the 70s.
Ashley probably would have made a great hippie :)

This is one of my FAVORITE pictures of her.

It's the Final Countdown

Okay maybe not the final countdown, but the number of days till I graduate is definitely getting shorter way too fast.

46 days.

7 weeks.

I'm not even going to count the minutes or seconds.

What does all this mean???

Well from what I can see... it means that senioritis is in full swing.

I have this huge list of things that need to get done. But instead of using my time wisely.... I wait until the last minute.

I also have these huge life decisions to make like where I'm going to live and where I'm going to work.

I think the only thing I should really do is stop worrying and leave it all to God.

Easter Weekend

I spent Easter weekend with Trevor's family and it was a lot of fun!

We watched movies, ate good food, lots of cupcakes, and of course a Easter Egg Hunt!

It's been a while since I got to participate in a Easter Egg Hunt and I had a lot of fun hiding the eggs!

Thank you Trevor's family! For always including me in everything and making me feel like part of the family :)
