On Friday I got a package from my mommy!
I love getting packages!

The package was really cute because there was foam spiders stuck all around the outside of the package. Inside was a Caramello candy bar. Its all gone now though :). A package of my favorite Dove Milk Chocolate Carmel. A pair of lacy tights! The new Paramore CD from my sister. And.... A letter from my sister! (more on that later)

And thank you Shirley for all the chocolate in the Halloween Package!

Yum Yum

Friday night when me and Trevor were wandering around Target looking for Transformers, we happened to come upon a box of Funfetti Cupcake mix for super cheap! So we bought some and some frosting and then on Sunday when we were babysitting we made cupcakes!

I don't have much experience baking so this was my first time making cupcakes. It was super easy though and they turned out really yummy. I think my favorite part was eating the frosting. Trevor frosted a couple but then I told him I'd do the rest because... he's not the best at frosting ( and I wanted them to look pretty!) :)

Weekend Fun

I spent the weekend relaxing at Trevor's house. I ate lots of yummy food and even made some yummy food. Washed my truck. Went to the mall. Watched the new Transformer Movie. Amazing. I'm like Transformer obsessed. I even made sure I was wearing my Transformers T-shirt (from the little boys section at Walmart) while watching the movie. Maybe I'll post pictures of my Transformer obsession Later :)

I also got to play with my favorite little girls!
It was such a nice weekend and we played outside a lot.

First Pep Rally!

I went to my first Pep Rally and Oh Man was it intense! It started at Midnight but they only had 300 shirts to give out so me Amanda, Allie, and Janae went down about 30 minutes early. We stood outside in the cold in line for about 30 minutes. As it got sooner and sooner to the doors opening more and more people started cutting. I don't like cutters. A few minutes before midnight, madness erupted (the pep rally was called midnight madness)... they opened the doors. I was pretty close to the doors, but that didn't make a difference. It was pretty much like a huge mob and everyone was pushing to get through 2 small doors. I held on to Janae and we barely pushed our way in. We sprinted to the tables where all the shirts were and grabbed some and headed to find some good seats. We ended up getting front row seats and then all the sports teams introduced all the players and there was a free throw competition and a dunking competition and lots of screaming and cheering. It was a fun night! I'm not used to staying up that late though and I sure was tired when I woke up this morning.

Back of the Free T-shirt

Now I should probably explain... We are the Pioneers. Our gym used to be an old airplane hanger and kinda resembles a covered wagon. So that should explain the saying on the back of the T-shirt :)

I love...

RAIN.

I love falling asleep to the sound of rain.

I also love Tuesdays!

This morning I didn't wake up till 11.
Then I made a cup of coffee and ate a blueberry muffin from Costco (thanks mommy!).
Now I'm just ignoring the homework that needs to be done and enjoying this blustery rainy day.
Time for hats, scarfs, and boots.

I think I need a new umbrella :/

Ducks Unlimited

Last Thursday, Me and Trevor drove to Oregon for the annual Duck Unlimited Event. I've been going to Ducks Unlimited in Summer Lake since I was 16 and sure wasn't going to miss it this year. This year the weather was beautiful. There were a lot less people this year because of the economy, probably about 40, but it was still fun.
Friday, we did a lot of trap shooting ( I need some practice) and drove around getting our hunting licenses and stuff. At night we played Texas Holdem' and LCR (dice game). I did pretty good at Texas Holdem' and almost won the dice game.
Saturday morning , everyone went duck hunting. It was a little slow this year (meaning not so many ducks). In the afternoon me and Trevor loaded up a bunch of guns and drove out to the rock quarry to shoot. We set up some clay pigeons and water bottles to shoot. While I was waiting for Trevor to get off the phone.... I got comfortable lol. Got my chex mix, bullets, gun, diet coke... I'm all ready for a good time!

My Handsom boyfriend shootin' his gun

You can see the smoke coming out of the gun on this picture!

Me giving the dead duck a lil' kiss. Don't worry Ha Ha it didn't actually happen.

Posing with some dead ducks.

We found a big tractor out at the rock quarry and I just had to have a picture on it :)

Sunday everyone packed up early and headed back home. Long drive. Now I have another week of school :(

Love Without Boundaries

Adoption is always something I have been interested in. A few years ago I became quite close to a family with three beautiful girls adopted from China. Watching them grow and blossom has been an amazing experience for me. I love reading adoption blogs and hearing about all the amazing stories. One day I hope that I can change the life or lives of children who need a mommy to love them. I have always loved children and I often feel that God's plan for me involves my love for children.

I have recently become interested in an organization called Love Without Boundaries. This is what they do…

“Love Without Boundaries Foundation is a worldwide group of volunteers dedicated to improving the lives of orphaned and impoverished children in China. We provide humanitarian aid in five key areas – Education, Foster Care, Healing Homes, Medical, and Orphanage Assistance – enabling children to receive families through adoption or to become self-sustaining members of their communities.

Love Without Boundaries began in the year 2003, after a group of adoptive parents came together to help save the life of one tiny boy in China. Following his successful heart surgery, they realized that people with a pure love for helping children can truly make a difference. LWB incorporated as a 501(c)(3) charity in the state of Oklahoma, and our worldwide team of volunteers went to work. We have watched our foundation grow from providing a handful of surgeries and baby formula in 2003 to touching the lives of thousands of children today through our many program areas. LWB holds Charity Navigator's highest 4 star rating and has an administrative overhead of less than 8%.”

If your interested in becoming involved with this organization or would just like more information there website is http://www.lovewithoutboundaries.com/index.cfm

Girls Night

After a horrible week of studying for our first Business Law test (hardest class ever) me and Allie decided that we needed to get dressed up and go celebrate. So Allie (my hott date) took me to this delicious nice Mexican restaurant in Napa.

My first time having Fried Ice Cream!

Allie kinda looks like she's smelling it lol.

On the way back to school me and Allie rocked out to Queen and sang all the words (even the ones we didn't know) hehe. Oh and we added some air guitar in there too ;)
