Optimus Prime....

Thursday night a big group of people got together and had a bbq, went swimming, and.... went to see the new Transformer movie! It was fun bbq hamburgers and playing in the pool. It's not fun when you get thrown in and your hair gets all wet though. haha oh well... then you get to play chicken! Transformers was the best movie I've seen in a long time. And.... I wore the new transformer shirt with Optimus Prime on it that my sister got me from the little boys section at Walmart. YaY!

Me and Allie decided to bake cookies the other night. I ate way too many but it was lots of fun! We ended up sharing with all our guy friends and it didn't take long for them to disappear.

Week 1 Summer School

Well I'm done with the first week of summer school. Three more weeks to go.

Summer School did not start out so fun. When me and Amanda got back to school last weekend at 10:00 p.m. we were told that we had to move. That night. We had two hours to move all our stuff from one dorm to another. We got a few guys friends to help us move the big stuff but since we didn't have a lot of time, things were just thrown into bags. Our new room was a mess that we could barely walk through. We went to bed that night around 2 and had class the next morning at 7:30 for Amanda and 8:00 for me.

Classes were not fun the first day. Sitting in class for long periods of time brings on day dreaming and internet browsing :).

Thursday I had a midterm. Yes after 4 days haha.
The afternoon consisted of swimming at the pool and gettin' some sun.
Thursday night a bunch of friends got together and went to see the movie Hangover it is so funny! After, we all went to get some edible food at In & Out :)

Today I'm going shopping with a few girlfriends! Yippee!

Thank goodness its the weekend.

PUC Mud Bowl 2009

Sunday I played mud football at PUC. My team lost but it was still fun to play in the mud and get dirty. Instead of talking about the experience... I'll just let the pictures explain :)

Dead week

Dead week is almost over. Thank goodness!

Last night I finished my last paper of the quarter. I was only up till... 2 a.m.

It was hard to wake up this morning.

I just finished tending my garden. Tomorrow it is getting evaluated.

Now I'm sitting here eating green olives. Wishing I was not staying here for summer classes.

My fridge is empty. I don't want to buy more food if I'm just going to have to move everything next week.

I keep thinking... I should start packing up stuff or start studying for finals.... but that probably won't happen till after this weekend.

I've got a pretty busy weekend coming up.

I'm going to my friend Allie's 20 fiesta birthday party on Friday night. Then Saturday I have to wake up super early to pick my dad up from the airport and then were going to a wedding! Sunday will be spent studying.

It is hard to believe that I am almost half way through my college education.

2 years down, 2 more to go!

How does my garden grow?

Katy Katy, Quite Contrary

How does your garden grow?

With silver bells, and cockle shells,

and pretty maids all in a row.

Remember the old nursrey ryhme? Not exactly the right words :)

Well this quarter I took Organic Vegetable Gardening. Everyone made fun of me, but I actually enjoyed it. There may not be silver bells and cockle shells growing in it but theres a variety of other things growing... or that should be growing :)

I'm growing.... corn, beans, egg plant, carrots, lettuce, radish, larkspur, alyssum, chive, tomato, onion, cosmos, basil, dill, pepper, peas, cucumber, and cantaloupe!

This Thursday my garden is getting evaluated for finals so I thought I'd take some pictures to show you the progress. The nice part about staying here at PUC for part of summer school is that I'll be able to let them finish growing and hopefully eat some of them when there done.
