My roommate turned 21 today!
Last night at midnight she got thrown into the fountain. It's a not so fun tradition at my school. It was cold last night too. I'm just happy my birthday is during Christmas Break which means I'm not at school to get thrown in.
Tonight we're all going out for pizza for her birthday which means I'll probably post more picture later :)
Happy Birthday Amanda! Hope you have a great birthday!

REVO
REVO - \RE-vo\, noun, verb, movement
1. A movement to change the world by becoming the change.
2. Love
For the past three years my school has put on an event called REVO. It is completely organized by students. REVO is about getting people involved by making people really give. REVO stands for Revolution. Each year they choose a cause to support. This year they choose to support a global and local charity. The local charity is KidzReach which is a program that takes kids who are in foster care, or come from families with one or both parents in jail, and brings them all together to have a good safe time. The global charity is the Tropical Health Alliance Foundation. This foundation is working to treat Podoconosis (Podo). Podo is a form of Elephantiasis of the feet which causes the feet to swell, and in some cases can be debilitating. It is completely preventable by wearing shoes. TOMS shoes has agreed to contribute to this cause and will provide shoes for each person that they treat, and their family which means that multiple pairs of shoes will be donated if one person is treated.
On Sunday REVO happened. There was a concert with three different bands, a silent auction, a fashion show, and tons of other stuff for sale. People donate clothes, furniture, books, pretty much anything you can think of was for sale. They also had some really cool necklaces made from women in Africa, which I had to buy :). I think the fashion show is the best part of the night. There was 4 or 5 designers and there ideas get pretty crazy. There was a dress made out of newspaper, and another out of a garbage bag. There was great music and it was just really a good time. I'm not sure how much money they raised yet but I know it is in the thousands. I think this is such an awesome event because it brings us all together for an amazing cause.
Here are a few pictures from the event...

Monday Monday
Well I'm quite fed up with Spring.
It keeps teasing me.
The sun will come out... and then it will disappear.
Today is the beginning of another long boring week of school.
This is the time of year that I lose all motivation for school.
I think the cool breeze just took it out the window.
Monday's are the worst.
I don't get done with class until 9 p.m.
I'm already dreaming of next weekend

Black & White Wednesday
While my sister was here visiting for college days we took a little trip down the hill and up another hill to visit a castle.
This just so happens to be the same castle that they visited in the last season of the bachelor! I don't actually watch the show, but since I go to school so close to it, everyone at school knew about it.
It's a pretty cool looking castle! Unfortunately, we didn't actually get to take a tour because we are all poor college students that can't afford $30 for a tour but it still looks pretty cool from the outside!

Visitor
My sister came to visit me or should I say my school for college days. That is where perspective students come visit the campus and have a look around. She was here for 4 days and I wish it could have been longer because I already miss her!
She visited a few classes. Finally picked a major! signed up for classes! tried out for the girls basketball team! and hopefully had lots of fun!
Here are a few pictures from our adventures :)

Black & White Wednesday
This Black & White Wednesday is going to be about my Grandma Mary.
The last couple years my Grandma has gone through a lot.
In the last two years, she survived....back surgery, a stroke, broken pelvis, colon cancer, heart surgery and so much more. She is such a strong woman.
She is the one who taught me how to sew. Whenever I need fabric or any sewing materials she always lets me raid her sewing room.
She taught me how to bake our special Christmas cookies. This year me and my sister had to make them all by ourselves because my Grandma was to weak to help us. She did supervise though :)
She taught me how to crochet. On our road trips to Montana she taught me all the different stitches and was always so patient with me.
My grandma is the oldest of 12 siblings. She grew up and raised her family in Montana. She had seven children. She was always a hard worker and is very stubborn. She doesn't like anyone to help her with anything, which isn't always a good thing when we're trying to take care of her lol.
Last summer my mom and I found these old pictures of my Grandma. I scanned them and they were already in black & white since their so old!
This picture was taken at Christmas time. I really like this picture because it just captures my grandma. Her wrinkles from working hard all her life. The look in her eyes. Her coffee cup :).
I love you Grandma.

This picture really makes me laugh because I don't think I've ever seen my Grandma drink. I guess it kinda makes sense though because she was a bartender for over 20 years. I'm guess my Grandma was in her 20's when this was taken.
My grandma and her sister Gloriane. My grandma is on the right. I love the old style of clothes in these photos! She tells me stories about how her and her sisters would take turns sitting up on an old building in their small town watching for enemy airplanes during WWII.
This is my grandma and grandpa on their wedding day. I never got to meet my grandpa but my mom is always telling me that he would have spoiled me silly :)
This is a picture of my grandma and I last November.

Blazers!
The Portland Trail Blazers have this thing going on...
People take pictures wearing Blazer clothing all around the world!
Then they'll show the pictures at the Blazer games!
Well me and Ashley had to get in on this!
You should have seen how much Blazer clothing my sister brought to Mexico! She is a little obsessed... you should see her Blazer shrine.

Spring Break Part 3
While in Mexico I wanted to take some good group photos.
We all seem to be squinting because of the sun.
They didn't turn out exactly as I'd hoped for but here are some of the better ones.
